Mud Cottages
Set within the peaceful two-acre premises of Bahubaleshwar Temple, our four mud cottages offer devotees a quiet, natural place to rest and reflect. Each cottage is built in an octagonal form using traditional earthbag construction, with 20-inch-thick earthen walls finished in breathable mud plaster, an insulated roof lined with woven bamboo matting, and tiled flooring — all of which keep the interiors naturally cool and calm through the day.
Each cottage measures 280 sq. ft. — a 220 sq. ft. bedroom and a 60 sq. ft. attached bathroom — with two windows that let in gentle daylight.
